Webinar Abstract

Event Type: Webinar

When: 20th May 2010

Cost: FREE

This webinar focuses on the impact of change on an organisation, tracking through its inception, its planning and subsequent implementation. We consider the chief reasons why so many businesses abandon change programmes, why employee resistance is dependent on director and manager performance, and why staff buy-in is assumed or ignored during the planning process.

Delegates will explore how the success of a change programme on any scale can be affected by successfully engaging employees at each level and the roles of all stakeholders from directors through line managers to staff in making change work for the business. The webinar will show that employee engagement is the crucial factor in determining project outcomes, and introduce models for engaging employees with a change process.

Using real examples of successful change processes, we will develop an understanding of the essential tools an organisation depends upon to engage its employees. The webinar will look at the key factors of: employee wellbeing; learning and development opportunities; employer and industry brand identity; clear, honest communication; organisational culture; and team and managerial relationships; and identify the effect they have on the level of engagement an employee feels.
